Joined as VP of Engineering and progressed to CIO. vyzVoice was an IIoT big data analytics platform that processed industrial sensor data from OT infrastructure to the cloud. Use cases ranged from office occupancy and wellbeing monitoring (people counters, presence sensors, temperature, CO2) to data centre management and factory floor analytics. Rebuilt the engineering culture and led the full-stack modernisation of the platform.

• Architected stream processing and batch processing pipelines (Hadoop, Kafka, MapReduce) for industrial IoT data at scale
• Led the architectural transition from monolith to microservices running on a Kubernetes cluster
• Designed and implemented a CI/CD software factory to dramatically reduce time-to-market
• Built custom analytics dashboards that gave enterprises real-time visibility into their OT data
• Drove security audits and compliance to meet stringent DTAG security standards
• Reduced cloud provider dependency by migrating from PaaS to IaaS, enabling on-premises deployments for clients with data sovereignty requirements

Led the full technology organisation of one of Europe's leading domain name registrars. Hired, mentored, and managed a team of 20+ engineers. Oversaw engineering architecture, product development, IT infrastructure, and project delivery.
